Supporting Shania

Shania, one of our beloved Gaia Spa therapists, experienced such a twist of fate when she tragically fell ill during a holiday last year. The aftermath of this illness has left her unable to walk, altering the course of her life in a profound way.

Yet, in the face of adversity, the Gaia Spa community has rallied around Shania with unwavering support and compassion. Recognising her journey towards rehabilitation, we've taken steps to stand by her side, offering not only financial aid but also heartfelt gestures of solidarity.

Our commitment to Shania's cause transcends mere words. We've contributed towards her rehabilitation fund, understanding that every bit counts in the pursuit of her recovery. But our support doesn't end there.

Recently, some of our dedicated Gaia Spa therapists took it upon themselves to go the extra mile - literally. They laced up their running shoes and embarked on a 10k run, all in the spirit of raising funds for their friend and colleague. Their efforts on Sunday 28th May 2024, exemplified the profound bond shared within our community, where each member's well-being is cherished and prioritised.

We've extended our support to the fundraiser that was held on Saturday 27th May 2024, by donating two valuable prizes for the raffle. It's our small way of contributing to the cause and showing Shania that she's not alone in this journey.

We’re inviting you to join us in supporting Shania's FND rehabilitation. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings her closer to reclaiming her independence and vitality.

To learn more about Shania's story and contribute to her cause, please visit the crowdfunding page on Crowdfunding to Shania’s FND rehabilitation on JustGiving.

Together, let's embody the spirit of compassion and solidarity that defines the Gaia community. Let's stand with Shania as she bravely navigates this chapter of her life, reminding her that she's surrounded by love, support, and unwavering solidarity every step of the way.
